Talk:Kallinstrate

The biggest issue I have with this is that the High King did not appoint governors or other rulers of territories. An-Yneaith was formed when he subjugated the rulers of other territories and declared himself High King. Therefore, if Kallinstrate is a territory of the High King, it would have been added in almost as-is, and not created later on by appointment of a ruler. Colonies were not created -- inhabitants of any lands the High King conquered were simply subjugated as past tribal leaders were, and whoever was the leader of Theron would have remained "in charge".

However, there is nothing to say that a revolution or political uprising could not occur within Theron after its subjugation to put your suggested leader into power, or it could have happened even before the subjugation of Theron and your suggested leader simply retained his position and then eventually rebelled to try to regain independence. Review

This looks pretty good -- for a history lesson. It's a good piece of background, but I don't think it's suitable just yet for a piece of living setting. It doesn't give any information about locations of play, for instance. It gives no names of cities, no suggestions of places that characters might visit. I'd like to see it expanded into a place with more potential for RP than this before it's approved. Hroefn 21:04, 7 September 2006 (CDT)

Is it just me, or are the population numbers a little high? Central Capital only has ~19 million, and it's a huge metropolis. Kallinstrate strikes me as a less industrialized/citified place, particularly with the general fantasy/low-tech feel of D'hennex in general. Ice, do you have an opinion on this, as fluff leader? Chyeah. --Ice 01:40, 9 September 2006 (CDT)

The population is the only issue I've got so far. I will assume that history given here is told as it in in Kallinstrate's history books, and will spin different angles in An-Yneaith history tellings. :D Tiryst 23:37, 9 September 2006 (CDT)
Total pops are better but your cities need all pops changed, because at the moment Kallinstrate's got some really odd math. :) Tiryst 10:55, 10 September 2006 (CDT)
And with all the population number issues resolved, I think I'm all right with this. Tiryst 13:24, 10 September 2006 (CDT)

Please view the Political Geography notes on the D'hennex Talk page and provide input concerning the map. Thank you. Tiryst 02:51, 12 September 2006 (CDT)
