Description

Raimei was a genetic experiment created by a group of rogue mercenary scientists, using the DNA of Master Roshi, amongst others. He was freed by a group of power wielders who raided the compound. Lacking an identity, he found himself drawn to the abandoned Kame Island, where he fabricated the identity of being Roshi's grandson, somehow managing to glean from the artifacts around him the secrets of the Kame style, which he then adapted to integrate psionics, which he was already very powerful with.

As his power grew exponentially on its own, warriors became drawn to the island. Raimei offered to train them the newly coined Neo-Kame style, and successfully trained several dozen (mostly NPC) students in it, including Shao Lung, Crimson Kasima, Mike Jones Jr., and Dream Sunstar. He converted the dilapidated house into a majestic castle, where many could train at once.

Raimei soon became involved in matters of global importance. During the Zann and the Golems saga, he engineered Zann's downfall by teleporting Mike Jones Jr. inside his meteor fortress. Later, during the First to Fall saga, he battled the God of Void himself, Oujakuma, and was nearly defeated. He then fused with the essence of a Kai, and used his newfound godly powers to create an alternate reality, in which he banished the epitome of evil as well as himself. This alternate reality was designed to make evil impossible to exist, and so Raimei trusted in it to spell the mega-villain's end.

After the Null was replaced by a new reality, however, the alternate reality was pierced by a wicked scientist, who dredged Oujakuma's gutted existence out of it and into the new reality, causing a second Null. During this time, Raimei managed to escape from his reality as well. However, much as Oujakuma was irrevocably eradicated by his redefinition in the new reality, Raimei was also profoundly changed. His mind barely clings to sentience, his consciousness drifting through swiss cheese memories, into which his new surroundings blend themselves. No longer the extraordinarily intelligent, nearly omniscent, and borderline omnipotent teenager he once was, the young man now has only the enormous psionic potential coded into his genome to rely on.

He was quickly spied and captured by a secret wing of the government, and has since been kept under close observation as his powers have slowly returned to him. Recently, his psyche has managed to recall advanced teleportation powers, which have made containing him difficult.
