Full Name: Miyaru "Trance" Hotori.
Age: ~3000 years.
Race: Lost Android
Birthplace: Some unimportant planet in a parallel universe.
Status: Active
Faction: Power Wielder Hero, Tier 3 (10,000-100,000)

Appearance
At first glance, Trance is indistinguishable from any other human on earth. She stands a respectable 5'10", has purple hair (not terribly uncommon on DBZ earth), and dark red eyes. She is of athletic build, lean and compact, with noticably toned muscles. Her body weighs approximately 400 pounds.
A closer examination reveals small, inhuman irregularities. Her eyes have fine, carefully etched conduits in place of veins, and her irises split and spin in two different directions whenever her vision changes focus. The back of her neck has two visible 'ports' on either side of her spine.
Powers
Although Trance is an android, she is powered by a fully aware human soul; her body draws on the energy produced by this soul to power itself. Her signature weapon system is a set of five serpentine 'grinders' - each consisting of a single long synthetic muscle surrounded by countless razor-sharp blades. The grinders shake at supersonic velocities, creating a snakelike hiss as they strike. Trance also has the ability to manipulate high-temperature energy-saturated plasma, as well as creating additional riot-style armor over her body.
Biography
Millenia ago, a technologically advanced race now known only as "The Lost" flourished within the galaxy. They were a peaceful race, and though physically frail, they possessed profound intellect. The field of dimensional research was a popular one among The Lost, and they were fascinated by the thought of parallel universes. In an effort to learn more about these alternate realities, The Lost developed technology to reach across the divide and pluck a lifeform from its home dimension. Sometimes it worked perfectly, and sometimes it didn't. Occasionally, subjects brought into this dimension simply could not survive, for whatever reason. Being a compassionate race, valuing life and individual existence so highly, The Lost used their Soulsphere technology to transfer their dying 'abductees' into a form able to survive.
Trance was one such subject, torn from her home and life without warning. Although death seemed enticing, given her situation, she chose to continue her existence. She was transferred seamlessly, and spent several decades learning about her new home. Eventually she enlisted in the military, an occupation that would keep her busy for the next thousand years. Shortly after Trance enlisted, all-out war erupted between The Lost and a powerful demonic force led by many allied cabals of majin. Outnumbered hundreds to one, The Lost used their superior technology to maintain the upper hand. Trance participated in and led countless sorties and battles, winning some and losing others, but to her credit she always managed to find a way out alive.
Until, of course, the last time. She was fighting a battle on the far outskirts of the Lost's territory, on a planet that would one day be called Earth. Trance, along with a full battalion of Living Androids and legions of automaton soldiers, took a final stand against the infernal forces there. And they lost. The Lost's forces were overrun, unable to cope with the sheer quantity of demons being summoned right on the front lines. The Living Androids were ripped asunder, their spheres taken and corrupted by powerful dark magic. Trance managed to escape this terrible fate - her body was crippled, her repair systems and internal computer damaged beyond their ability to self-regenerate. She lay in a rift created in the ground, overlooked for the moment, then buried by the centuries.
It would take another two millenia for another Living Android to come, one James Specht. He located Trance's body, buried hundreds of meters beneath the surface near Korin's Tower, and reactivated her. The two androids tried to make sense of the new world they found themselves in, at first signing up with the Imperial Defense Force prior to the events of The First to Fall. After the terrors of Yakeoni and the Null passed, Trance and James, along with Cazyn Ravi, whose soul James had saved on the brink of death, formed the command council aboard the space station ARCHIE III. Created by the desires of the two Androids, Archie simply materialized in orbit around earth, empty and awaiting purpose.
Trance, James and Cazyn repopulated the station, campaigning a massive recruitment drive to the citizens of earth. They were wildly successful, and had a crew capable of running the station within a few months. Trance entered in the Tenkaichi Budoukai, hardly placing at all but coming away stronger for the experience. In her absence, a man by the name of Aleksander Burke insinuated himself in the station's command structure, using his credentials as a securities expert to win over the other two Commanders. Burke quickly replaced the ARCHIE security protocols with ones of his own design, and corrupted the primary and secondary computer cores. Through that corruption, Burke filtered a virus into the Lost Androids' internal computer systems, which literally affected their very thought patterns, making them complicit to the Chorus cause. Trance, by virtue of her older body and out-of-date internal computer, escaped this influence. Shortly after securing the loyalty of Cazyn and James, Burke sprung a takeover of the station, disguised as a security exercise. Further events of this time period can be read about in the Etiquette of Reform.
After the ousting of the Chorus, James remained in retirement and hiding, and Cazyn faded away to pursue his own goals. Trance was left in sole command of ARCHIE, and thus, the only one left to take all the flak for ARCHIE's role in the invasion.
Presently Trance is endeavoring to disarm ARCHIE of its most destructive weaponry - Namely the Tenchu cannon that the Chorus used to threaten the people of Earth. Also on her agenda is negotiating with the Directional Council to have ARCHIE absorbed into the newly-forming military structure, as well as prosecuting war crime offenses against a certain half-breed saiyan.
