Appearance

Selene is, in simple terms, a beautiful woman. She herself will tell that to anybody. While she might probably be the most conceited woman on the planet, she's also right in some respects. Her marble-white skin, jet-black hair with the crimson tips, and most of all her captivating eyes which seem to shine with some unnatural light have landed her her modeling job. She's probably been seen in all of Cardinal, and she relishes that.

Powers

Selene Alexander is actually a vampire, and she doesn't care to hide it. Often during battle she can be seen forming claws made of ki energy around her hands, she bites people both to drink from their blood and to thrall them in the process, etc. Oftentimes she will release her ancestral blood, tapping into the buried power of the Alexander bloodline lying dormant within her. When this happens her hair turns completely red, and her lust for blood heightens considerably. ...So she doesn't become such a nice person during those times.

Biography

The surname Alexander comes from a demon of the same name. Selene's great-great-grandfather was too into the occult, and eventually ended up making a pact with a demon to gain power. The pact was made, and the ancestor did gain power, but at a price. He would forever be consumed with a burning hunger, one which if it wasn't satiated, would pain him to great lengths. That was, of course, the hunger for blood. He had in effect become a vampire.

Fast-forwarding to the present, and the noble Alexander bloodline culminates on Selene. Her family has always been the brooding and secretive type, but not her. Selene is a flighty individual, and is always seeking new thrills at every turn. While the rest of her family frowns and scoffs at her actions, she only disagrees with their views all the more. She is, basically, obsessed with breaking the vampire stereotype. It's one of the reasons why she became a model.

But then, things changed drastically for the vampire. A scheduling error had her crew conducting (or trying to) a photo shoot at the same time as another would be doing the same using James Kaider as the model. A dispute broke out between the two power wielders, which culminated with the demihuman lashing Selene's backside with a belt as punishment. The next day her image was totally shattered when photographs of the incident were distributed. Soon enough she lost her modeling job, and was veritably shunned from the life that she had prized and treasured so much. Selene was essentially alone.

That was when the idea to go back to Alida Blandine came to mind. In an effort to find someplace to fit in, the vampire sought to have an old offer renewed, and pleaded with the succubus to take her back. Being admitted into the fold, Selene was able to turn her life around. She went from a selfish, narcissistic, and uncaring young woman to one with a goal and a family.

Having proven her worth, the vampire was soon sent to South City, instructed to begin her own operation to spread anarchy and freedom to the town under Alida's banner.
