Classification
While I originally listed Reforge Creation and Natural Metallurgists as major advantages for the race, I'm thinking in retrospect that they should actually be classified neutrally. The abilities can't be directly used by the efreet, only to assist others. Reforge Creation temporarily saps their PL for at least five weeks, every time it's used. They exist as a reason for the efreet to be summoned, so they're supporting traits to what's actually advantageous to the efreet, Servant of the Most Perfect Law, the benefits of which they can only gain at most twice a year. Removing Reforge Creation and Natural Metallurgists from the balance, the race actually looks at least close to balanced, to my eye. Thoughts and comments? Hroefn T 19:29, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- I don't have any comments on balance just yet, but I've got a question on Ever Changing Fire. It says that they can't use their base Phys PL and KiPL at the same time. Does this mean they need to have a base PhysPL based on KiPL? What if they have a PhysPL based on magic or psionics?
- Also, for Transformations that would allow the wisher to assuming a new racial template, the race template would have to be accepting new members and they'd need to get the race owner's permission as well, right? --Ff0ecaf 19:53, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- Room rules don't allow for people to have a PhysPL and KiPL at the same time, so that's my way of saying that they're still limited by that. Rules don't deny having a PhysPL based on Psi or Magic and also have the PL that the PhysPL is based on at the same time, though, so I'm not banning that combination, although I would think it was lame if people did that. Their PhysPL template can be any approvable template.
