Kate always dresses on the fringe, and with as many of her own crazes techno touches as she can afford. She's always doing something in correlation with her mood, which tends to shift depending on who she's around, and how they're feeling. It could be said that some of her changes in accordance with this ranging shift in mood.

She also has an array of ultra high fashion clothing given to her as a gift from her boyfriend Gilead Clayburne. They happen to be Strozzi Originals for her employment with EI.

Powers

Being a psion, Kate's studies have encompassed everything from quicker speeds, to the art of teleportation. As fighters go, she's not a very strong one, prefering her healing, and teleportation to get her through the battles that happen throughout Sanctuary's days. Kate's senses are acute, even for a psion, and the woman has made it far in life just with her sensing abilities, and her multiple slots available in her mind.

Skilled with every possible manner of technology, Kate is never seen without at least three different devices floating around her doing various tasks. Whether it's a vehicle, PAD, refrigerator or alarm clock, Kate can fix and use it within a little less than a minute. Given enough time, Kate can learn, map, fix and improve anything. (OOC NOTE: Does not include those pieces of technology that were built by, or specifically used by or for another IC player without that MUN's permission)

Most important to understanding her nature, is Kate's innate empathy with those within her psionic senses. Kate can feel, and mimic whatever the people or creatures around her are feeling, which can be useful in truth-seeking, and counselling, but destructive and dangerous in heated, passionate situations.

Biography

Growing up a normal girl in Central City, Kate's family was nuclear and perfect. Her younger brother Dylan is off at Central City University, she's got a degree in Business and Engineering, and her parents are well-adjusted and proud.

Her empathetic skills began to present themselves when she was a child, but her psionic abilities did not come to fruition until puberty. Thank goodness Kate had a healthy, happy home to help her feel her way through her newfound abilities. At university, Kate studied with little to no effort, getting good marks without even trying. Her dating life was a hazard to her sanity, but she overcame without any major bruises to her ego or heart-strings. Her family was always very supportive.

When she graduated, she was immediately enveloped in the stresses of finding a job challenging and fun enough to peak her interest. The next day in a yoga class taught by Chadisekhar, Kate found her calling: Chadisekhar's Sanctuary. Her and the dancing magess became fast friends, and Kate helped her throughout the last of the building, and when the doors opened, she moved right in. Kate now lives and works in Sanctuary, finding that being always available at all times works the best when dealing with everyone from the mortal grade power wielder wannabes (like her) to hardhitters such as Alothin.

All in all, it's a pretty decent way to make a living, when she's not going crazy.

Nowadays Kate has given up her job at Sanctuary to get a position as an engineer (as is her training) at Empirical Industries. Things are looking up for the geeky woman, let's hope they stay that way.
