Original Techniques

Penelope is a transhuman ki-wielder, and also the first of her kind. While psionic power lends itself well enough to joining mind and AI, and the greater intellect makes for powerful mages, it is unknown how a spiritual warrior might benefit from being merged into a singular conscience with an artificial intelligence. Insofar, strength of body and spirit have proven excellent platforms for cybernetic enhancement, and the restorative nature of ki itself has completely eliminated the risk of an organic body rejecting inorganic parts.

battleNET: Along with her physical body, Penelope's brain has also seen some enhancement. Utilizing the artificial intelligence grafted into her conscience, she is able to monitor and regulate the use of all of her inorganic parts. Some of her body's enhanced functions can be 'overclocked' at will, granting greatly-increased combat prowess.

Party: Designed with joining Nadia Ionaz's Initiative in mind, Penelope has the ability to join her spiritual power to the power of other ki-wielders. Doing so allows her to improve their fighting ability to the same degree that she improves her own.

Boost: Should the need for extreme measures arise, Penelope may overclock her internal components, causing them to draw on twice as much of her power as is safe for her systems to utilize. Though it comes with the risk of injury, this short boost in power can easily turn a fight in favor of her, and her allies if they are in her party.

Blast Processing: Generally speaking, transhumans are far more intelligent than humans, but not nearly so capable of processing information as an AI. In Penelope's case, the merging of her mind and her AI was so successful, and so complete, that her brain is capable of the same feats of intellect that an AI is.

Brawl: Fighting inside of populated cities can result in untold death and destruction. To minimize the chances of this, Penelope fights with hand to hand combat.

MLG: When first created, Penelope's artificial intelligence was inexplicably drawn to video games as a form of learning and entertainment. It remains her favorite hobby.

Perfectionist: Penelope is capable of learning any simple or complicated task almost instantly when provided with complete instructions. Where a teenager may spend months practicing to learn to drive, she learned over the span of 2 femtoseconds.

Physical Appearance

Penelope is a woman of average height and build with no distinguishing marks, save for that she is on the attractive side when it comes to looks. Though a significant portion of her body is inorganic, to all outward appearances she's a normal girl in her early twenties.

History

For the past four years, Penelope has existed in two states; a comatose young woman and an infantile AI. Prior to being converted into a transhuman, Penelope Frampt was simply a mortal woman who had the misfortune of being killed in a power-wielder attack. The force that killed her removed her soul from her body, while leaving her body completely intact. As per her wishes, her body was donated to science, and not long after that her sister, Julia Frampt, began studying artificial intelligence.

Dismayed that the knowledge and tools to create such a being were out of her grasp, she began seeking benefactors that may have funded either purchasing an AI for her sister's conversion or building one. After vetting several candidates, it was decided that Nadia Ionaz would provide the AI. For the following four years, Penelope's body was preserved in its comatose state while the AI was constructed. Upon its completion, Rose Winterbourne was contracted to advise the two women on the safest and most reliable ways to integrate AI and other inorganic parts into the human brain and body. As the surgical processes required were far too delicate for any mortal hand, robots were commissioned specifically for the creation and upkeep of the 'new' Penelope.

With time and patience, Penelope has become the first ki-wielding transhuman to be created, though her origins and true nature remain undisclosed for her own safety. She is now a member of the Initiative, and works with Nadia and her comrades to keep order in Cardinal.
