Broodmother: Dragons often have varying opinions on the idea of parenthood. Some choose to leave behind children as a way to ensure their legacy continues if they fall, while others have faith that they will not be killed and that they will simply carry their legacy on themselves. Mirna has an extremely large brood, some almost infantile, some nearing young adulthood, and all capable of aiding her in pillaging towns and protecting her coveted hoard.
Inner Calm: Mirna possesses a physical power very similar to what humans refer to as psionics. Though her abilities differ in many ways, one thing that remains the same is her ability to sense energy of any type with great accuracy.
Songstress of the Skies: In combat, Mirna uses musical instruments to the same effect a swordsman would wield a sword. Though any will do, her favorite is the guzheng, a stringed instrument similar to a sitar.
Spoken in Song: Mirna is mute and cannot speak. Even her mightiest roar is as silent as a whisper. Despite this, she is able to communicate through music; notes played on any instrument she possesses will form ideas and concepts in the listener's head that are as clear as the spoken word. As music often transcends petty differences between mortalkind, so can she transcend any language barrier with this skill.
Swift of Body: Unlike psions, Mirna is physically very powerful. Though she detests violence, she is capable of punching holes in concrete without so much as bruising a knuckle.
Original Techniques
Mirna is both aligned to the element of Wind and a Focus of Air. Though capable of typical manipulation of the element (such as wind-based blasts fired as a breath weapon), her skills are largely focused on the manipulation of sound and emotion. Over her relatively long life, she has mastered nearly every musical instrument made by man, and many made by other races altogether, and uses her music as a means of combat.
The Vortex Pinnacle: As all dragons do, Mirna uses inventive ways to protect her hoard. Rather than remain stationary, hers travels at considerable speed through the very clouds it is hidden in. Her hoard is an arrangement of massive gold and marble pillars, interconnected by dozens of bridges formed from swirling mists and containing multiple chambers to store her pillaged treasure. Even if located, its labyrinthine arrangement makes it all but impossible for uninvited guests to navigate.
Children of the Sky: Mirna's brood consists of two separate clutches. The first, and oldest, is able to take wing and often seen with her when she is pillaging towns. The second and younger clutch remains protected within her hidden hoard. Though her second clutch is quite young by dragon standards, even a young dragon can match an inexperienced power-wielder. Any who manage to locate her hoard will still have to contend with her youngest clutch before reaching her treasures.
Claw of Mist, Fang of Wind (Broodling Ability): Though she will take what she wants by force, Mirna has an unusual soft spot for the human race, and will not kill in order to claim treasure. Her brood is capable of dealing subdual damage by cloaking their claws and fangs in mists to blunt their respective edges.
Throat Passage (Broodling Ability): While many dragons hoard sturdy items such as magical weapons, gold coins, and gems, Mirna's tastes run toward more delicate treasures such as paintings and priceless musical instruments. To avoid damaging these items while pillaging, her brood is capable of swallowing an item, or even a mortal man, whole and transporting it instantly to her hoard without damaging it. Talented mortal singers and musicians are often kidnapped in this manner and forced to perform private concerts for her enjoyment.
Whipping Winds (Broodling Ability): Mirna's brood is capable of more than clumsy clawing and biting attacks. When pushed, they can increase their offensive or defensive potential greatly, and their skill in unarmed combat is akin to that of a trained martial artist by human standards.
Scales of Obfuscation: Mirna is a highly social creature, and derives great joy from interacting with many of the lesser species. Because her pillaging often puts her on the wrong side of the law, which in turn would lead to her eventual capture and arrest, she obfuscates her form when pillaging cities. Though her physical appearance does not change, those without particularly keen senses will simply forget what she looks like moments after laying eyes on her.
The Four Winds: Knowing that pride cometh before the fall, Mirna is not too stubborn to flee from a fight if it is not going well. This ability removes her and her brood from the field of battle and returns them to the safety of her hoard.
Sona (Item): Of all the priceless instruments she has pillaged, this guzheng is her favorite. Tastefully adorned in jewels and precious metals and crafted from the wood of the World Tree itself, this item can channel the powers of the user and turn music into a deadly weapon.
Song of Celerity: Though capable of fighting, Mirna detests violence and is granted no joy from harming others. She leaves her brood to do that for her, when necessary, and empowers them through her songs. The Song of Celerity, as its name implies, increases the speed at which her brood can move.
Song of Puissance: If necessary to capture something Mirna has a strong desire to posses, or to protect her brood, this song may be played to greatly increase their power for a short time.
Song of Safe Return: After awakening from a slumber of nearly a century, Mirna was shocked to find that her vast powers had been reduced to nearly nothing. Made aware that many of the mortal races have been scrambling to gain power on their own in the absence of dragons with strength comparable to hers, she has now accepted the fact that mortal men are once again equal with dragons. This song protects her and her brood by teleporting them away from harm when an attack would otherwise prove fatal.
Song of Storms: If given absolutely no other recourse, Mirna will stand and fight. The song of storms channels her control over the element of wind into her instrument of choice and unleashes blasts of energy to drive her foes back.

Vocalist: Though mute, Mirna is ironically a highly talented singer with a wide range.
Musical Prodigy: Mirna loves many things, but nothing more than music. She is proficient with any instrument, from something as complex as studio production equipment to something as simple as a kazoo.
Child at Heart: Perhaps it is because she is a mother herself, but Mirna gets along particularly well with any child of any species.
Physical Appearance
Mirna's human form remains constant in appearance. She is average height for a woman with a vivacious build and a soft, attractive facial features. In her dragon form she is larger than most other wyrms with massive, muscular wings and glittering crystal scales.
History
Mirna is young by dragon standards, and her naivity and inexperience have led her to be the butt of perhaps the most elaborate practical joke of all time. Upon reaching maturity, she sought out a mate immediately and soon had a clutch of her own. Exhausted from laying her eggs, she was unable to defend herself when her former mate cast a sleeping spell upon her and took anything in her hoard that wasn't nailed down. Though he stole all of her treasures, he left her and her clutch unharmed, and the spell was woven to wear off the moment her eggs began to hatch nearly a century later. With a touch more caution, she sought a second mate out for her second clutch while rearing the first, and has been working toward restoring the glory of her hoard since then.
Mirna's love of mortalkind stems from her love of music, which was introduced to her by a mortal girl. The girl, intended to be a virgin sacrifice to the dragon from a nearby D'hennexian settlement, made a bid for her freedom by offering to instead sing the giant to sleep each night. Curious, Mirna accepted, and was surprised to find that after serenading her into peaceful slumber, the girl had not tried to escape but rather remained behind to make good on her word. Over the years, the two became close friends, but as mortals are wont to do, the woman eventually passed away. Crushed by the death of her first true friend, Mirna resolved to venture out into the human world and find another. Though she has not yet found 'the one', she hopes to one day meet a mortal that will be as close with her as the girl she once knew.
