Magites
The Magites are things of fairy tales. Hailing from a dimension completely saturated with magical energies and inhabited by gods, these people rarely leave their homeland, much less their very plane of existence. They live in a paradise where everything is lush, peace and happiness reign eternal, and the balance is almost never disturbed. Only in relatively recent times have Magites been called to places beyond their familiarity, often forcefully and never reversibly. Even now, it is a rare thing to see a Magite in the plane of Humans.

The Perfect Land of the Magites
In their nameless land of creation, Magites are impossibly powerful. They are created by entities known as Eternal Mothers and Eternal Fathers, who themselves have abilities and mental processes beyond mortal imagination. They take physical form often in this place, where they casually mingle, on a friendly basis, with their creations. By frequent proximity to their infathomable eternal parents and the richness of the very magic around them, Magites maintain centuries of knowledge, and a power that even the power wielders of Earth could only make imaginary grasps for. This power is more often used to enhance their world and to enrich the enjoyment of themselves and of others, than it is used for war and fighting, due to the natural harmony that occurs between all Magites. This, of course, is not to say that fighting never happens between Magites. Magites do quarrel verbally over differing beliefs from time to time, and when they reach a stalemate that must be resolved, it is usually settled with a duel. Duels are always friendly, however, and the very fabric underlying their world keeps them from ever perishing.
The Universe Project
Amongst the "hobbies" and great projects that keep the Magites and their powers occupied is the existence of an entire plane of sentient, largely unmagical creatures. Among them are Human beings, Saiyans, and Nameks. It is a thing that all Magites came together and created, and have since only watched. The Magites were divided into "sects", and each sect was responsible for the development of their own race of sentient creatures in this mostly magicless universe. It became a sort of competition to see whose creation could excel and approach the Magites' own level of perfection first, for it was their belief that though they themselves were created, theirs was the destiny of all worthwhile sentient beings, given millenia of work, trials, and hardships. It was a way for the Magites to prove their own worth to themselves, and their Eternal Parents only revelled in the competition, finding it highly amusing and interesting.
However, competition between Magites began to brew bitter feuds. It began as a mere increase of duels between opposing sects. Arguments were frequently given that one sect or another was cheating. Others debated the ability of even their great powers to create beings that could be as perfect as they are merely from creation. The debates and fights were kept quiet, and private. To the rest of the Magite society, it was merely one of their own taking their work a little too seriously. After all, it was just a game, right? Just a hobby that they all shared. Little did they know, however, that certain sects had become outright obsessed with their created races. Their perfect moral alignment had long since fallen away to this bizarre, driven purpose. It could even be said that this process created the first vestiges of evil amongst the paradise-loving people, with the introduction of greed, pride, and envy.
The Society of Universal Arbitration
Eventually, however, the corruption in their society grew to a state that it could no longer be ignored or dismissed. A council was created, with representatives from every sect, to look over their proverbial ant-farm and protect its existing principles from the influence of Magites who may have strayed from their utopian virtues. Amongst the first acts that the council made was to commit a majority-approved member of each sect to directly and personally monitor their own mortal race that they had created, allowing them to watch more carefully for taint and unjust influence, and passively protect their race from the same, while keeping the council informed of them. These Arbiters were sent through individual portals, and have since watched over their given worlds ... or so it has been assumed. Amongst them is one Seshuesi Suemn, who is the representative of her sect, who, in turn, created Humanity.
Fate's Wrongful Turn
This is where the theories of dimensional creation and conflicting deist beliefs come into play. Despite the seemingly foolproof evidence of the Magites' presence, it cannot be proven that the Magites created our dimension, nor that Seshuesi's sect truly created our humanity. Why? Because Seshuesi, and the other Arbiters of the Magite sects, have been completely cut off from their homeland. Their portals no longer function to carry them back to their world. Further, no communication channels can be made. They had only been left with a few paltry magics that were still able to connect the two dimensions, and this became their only hope of finding a way to get back in touch with their people.
This, in turn, was disrupted during the events of The First To Fall, when the Null tore all of existence into nothingness. Upon the reformation of all things, even the connecting magics no longer worked. Their eternal parents could not be felt, and their homeland seemed so, so far away. The being who appeared at the apex of the Null's destruction was certainly not an Eternal Father. What's more, Magites have been known to be pulled forcibly from their homeland into the various planets of the mortal universe (sometimes not even the planet of the race belonging to their sect), who were not Arbiters. Adding insult to injury, the lack of magical energies and presence of Eternal Parents in the mortal world has weakened the Magites who moved here so greatly that the power wielders around them are often leagues stronger than they are. Their volumes of magical knowledge are largely lost as well, for the fabric of this universe is so different from their own that nothing works the same. Each Magite is forced to deal and rebuild their own abilities from nothing -- something they've never had to do before, in their entire lives.
Optimism Amidst Enmity
However, Magites retain their great wisdom and perceptiveness. Their minds are often unmuddled by these perplexing events. Each Magite knows that some dark force has taken control of their project, and they merely await the sinister punchline in their largely helpless states. Even so, many Magites, like Seshuesi, refuse to go quietly, and continue to perform their duties, ever training their abilities to respectable levels so that they can continue to protect their sect's charge, even if that means exposing their race's nature to the mortal beings they supposedly created. The rules have been broken, and yet, play resumes -- and so, the rules are now moot, and all that matters is winning. ... Magites cannot die, in their homeworld. In the mortal universe, it is a different matter entirely. Still, many Arbiters believe that their lives would easily be worth the principles and beliefs that they fight for now on a daily basis.
