This tech needs a lot of clarification. As it is worded, it should work with any other tech that meets its requirements, yet it is listed as Active, implying that it consumes the tech action for the post. This has led to confusion for many chatters, as some believed Skill Shot to be triggered upon use of a qualifying (active) technique, others understanding that it can be used with passive techs only, and still others believing that it cannot be used with techs at all (implying that the line about tech use is a remnant of an older edition or a typo of some sort).
Additionally, how Skill Shot's bonus stacks with other bonuses is unclear, as in the case of adding Skill Shot and Weapon Proficiency bonuses together (when do things get calculated? What is virtual and what is real?).
Personally, I was of the camp that thought Skill Shot was a tech that triggers with the use of a valid tech, and have therefore been using Skill Shot with active techs that were single physical strikes. I am not sure what everyone else thought, but I know that I have seen others with my interpretation and others with the aforementioned alternate interpretations.
