==Description==

The universe is a race between good and evil. When evil rises to a new level of complexity, good must do so as well, or innocents will pay the price. All too often, villains escape justice due to the ability to use unorthodox forms of movement, such as teleportation. A character who masters this technique can call for Pericles to emit a field that interdicts such movements on the battlefield.

==Logistics==

This technique requires as a prerequisite a means by which to designate a target to Pericles. The [[Rules:Empirical Battlenet|Empirical Battlenet]] or [[Rules:Empirical Fire Support Net|Empirical Fire Support Net]] CTs fulfill these requirements and are recommended techniques. Other techniques may fulfill this prerequisite as well, however.

Using this ability triggers Pericles' Area Denial Field technique on the entire battlefield. No teleportations into, within, or out of the area are possible unless the teleportation's strength (equal to its stamina drain before Drain Reduction, in the absence of a better number) is greater than 200% of Pericles' PhysPL. It is a selective technique -- friendlies are not affected by this technique.

This technique requires 60 (45/75) tech days to master.

==Notes==

This technique does not stop Declared Villain escape techniques. However, it may be upgraded by Pericles on an individual basis to be effective against DV escape methods.
