Powers and Resources

Troy Zonas is a physPL character, who relies on his blessings of strength and speed without use of magic, psi, or ki. He's a purist, and goes into battle with armour, swords a swinging, and fists a blazing with different kinds of gasses to help him along the way. Some to heal, others to harm.

To help him along, Troy has a set of very personal Shadow Knights, who fight with the powers of spirit on their side. Zealots, all of them, they are all willing to die for the cause, whatever that may be.

Biography

Dr. Troy Zonas spent his entire childhood looking for the wisdom of Ancients. Growing up in a wealthy family as the only child, he quickly rose through the academic, and economic ranks to become a PHD in Archaeology, with money, contacts, and many publications and important finds under his belt. He is a great lover of the classical arts, and has a box at the Central City Opera House, and is a patron of the Cardinal Art Gallery, and several other arts & classical music associations. Along with his wife Rebecca Zonas, he seems to be the ideal, model, if somewhat foppish member of society. Dr. Zonas runs the Archaeology department at West City University, and lectures at Central City U.

His company, Heorot-Scylding is multi-facetted, and researches his finds, translates old literature, and publishes his, and a myriad of other books, journals, and magazines. Most of the stuff published has a xenophobic, and anti-demihuman bent, it's subtle in most things, but blatant in others. He is a key speaker on Human, and non-powered rights.

In the darkness, however, the man is a fanatic, waiting for the opportunity to take his rightful place as a human being, and outstanding man, and get rid of the aliens, and demi-humans that have caused so much trouble in his world. He is the father of necromancer Selyka Marron, and abused her and her mother Amelia, who just so happened to be Rebecca's sister. He was a drunkard who still, from time to time indulges, then goes on a violent streak, one of which ended in shooting Amelia through the forehead on Selyka's 12th birthday. The abuse never ended for his daughter, until her boyfriend Nathaniel Marron stole her away and married her. He never forgave the Marron mage for stealing his rightful property.

Now his life is about revenge, and a purificatory vengeance on what he sees as a decidedly lost world.
