Description

At a cost of defensive strength, Aggressive Mind turns a psion's powers down the path of offense, enabling to deal significantly more damage for a short period of time.

Logistics

In order for this tech to work, there must be at least one person within effective melee striking distance of the user, during each post this tech is active.

While active, all telekinetic actions aimed at a target within two feet of a psion's Sphere of Influence are doubled in damage potential and speed (thus, if the target attempts to dodge back, away from the SoI, but is still struck, the damage is not reduced). At the same time, energy is drawn away from Passive and Active Defenses, and the psion takes double damage (even if it's absorbed by a non-PD/AD defense), and non-physical movement is not allowed (with the exception of flight for purposes of not falling). Though defending oneself physically is allowed, the user receives no power or speed bonuses to any defensive maneuvers performed.

If this tech is active during a post, it must be active during the entire post, not just a portion of it. This tech may be maintained for up to three posts per day, though not necessarily in the same session. Activating this technique consumes one slot.

If the user possesses other PL types (ie, Ki or Magic), then any durability-granting techniques (ie, Barrier) that are active are temporarily disabled. When the technique ceases, those durability-granting techniques are reinstated as they had been before being disabled.

This tech costs 30 (23/38) tech days.
