Description

The ability to teleport is essential to the fully-rounded psion, giving them a significant mobility advantage over their lesser-trained counterparts. The advantage of this further training in the teleportative arena permits a psion to use their abilities more efficiently, and not only teleport, but attack instantly, afterwards. This training largely consists of causing the mind to more rapidly recover from the disorienting effects of the advanced travel style.

Logistics

Advanced Teleport is an open-ended levelled upgrade to Basic Teleport. Each level permits a psion to use one slot for a purpose other than Passive Defense in the round that Basic Teleport is used. Due to a tech already being used, naturally only gimme effects can be used, unless the psion also has Cerebrothreading.

Thus, upon completing Advanced Teleport once, a three-slot psion could teleport (using one slot), fire a telekinetic gimme wave attack, and use a slot for Passive Defence. A second completion of it would permit them to throw two slots of attacks after teleporting. Further completions would be useless, unless the psion also had levels of the Multitask CT completed.

Advanced Teleport may be used once per level taken, per day, to a maximum of three times per day. Using Advanced Teleport causes 150% PsiPL stamina drain, replacing Basic Teleport's stamina drain. As this is an upgrade to Basic Teleport, if a character has applied Drain Reduction to Basic Teleport, that upgrade also affects Advanced Teleport's stamina cost.

Each level of Advanced Teleport costs 60 (45/75) tech days.
