Profane Polyglot: Meralda is well-versed in several languages: Natively, she speaks Khurunese and Shen'ihri Common. She is also fluent in Artesh and Aenish, as well as the common interstellar trade languages Minnisiat and Sy Bisti. Her real linguistic talent is a vocabulary of curses spanning every other terrestrial Shen'ihr dialect and no less than ten separate alien languages.
Brewmistress: Knowledge of chemical processes and fermentation can allow one to create homemade alcoholic beverages, but it takes a refined palate and an ability to detect subtle flavors married to that knowledge to create good hooch. Meralda is well-skilled in the creation of a variety of alcohols, from simple beers to the exotic and potent power-reactive sutarj beverage.
Gearhead: Much of where Meralda gained her knowledge and experience with booze came from her younger teenage years apprenticing in machine shops. She is adept with many types of hand tools and machines, and can understand complex moving systems with ease.
Singer: Meralda developed a habit of singing and whistling while she worked at a young age, and contrary to many of her peers, possessed a strong speaking voice early on. During her years in grade school, she studied music theory and sang for her school band. Meralda is also noted for being featured in a concert during the celebrations at the end of the Kinslayer War.
