Appearance

Fox and Rabbit are both typical examples of their specific subspecies, save for that Rabbit is albino, and has red eyes and white fur and skin. Despite wielding arcane power, Fox tends to dress conservatively in more modern garb. He's never seen without a manji dangling on a chain around his neck, a prominent symbol of his Kamist faith.

Powers

Fox and Rabbit are a rarity among the power-wielding community; apart from one another, they are competent wielders of their respective powers (psionics and magic), but when fighting together, they powers merge into something greater than the sum of their parts. The nature of Fox's magic is basic and traditional, employing wards to keep himself safe from danger, basic levitation spells for mobility, and a reactive attack spell that grows in power the more thoroughly his defenses are abused. His partner's abilities all supplement his, enabling them to be cast with more power than he could otherwise summon on his own.

Biography

Very little is known of Fox's origins, and they are kept a closely-guarded secret from even Fox himself by his partner and lover Usagi. All that he knows for certain is that he was mortally-wounded during an attack by one of Izaak Zell's abominations, and pulled from the brink of death by Usagi herself. Because the injuries left him with an almost completely destroyed brain, all memories that he had prior to the incident were lost. After his recovery, and at her insistence, he began practicing the arcane arts and traveled to Namek to help aid the efforts being made against Zell. Despite the fact that his powers had not fully developed, the threat of the destruction of all of reality at Zell's hands spurred him to join the battle.

In the end, the heroes of Earth once again prevailed. While Cardinal was being rebuilt, Fox retreated to the mountains of North City and founded the Arcaneum, a place of learning and knowledge for the mages of Cardinal to gather.
