Upon Thou Unpardoned Lips

Upon Thou Unpardoned Lips

No greater flower have my eyes yet seen
Then my dear sweet love's so tender and pure
Vibrant, how long does my heart wish to glean
One more moment to thy gracious heart's lure.

Her eyes vast orbs of ocean seas so blue
Soft toussels of cheery flaxen hair be
Framed. Her oh so fair a face lovely true
She loved so gallant, my eyes blind to see.

Fie! Fie on this my devil of a mind,
To boast and bray on theories thought so sure!
I lost such rich a beauty as could find
Fall, fall my soul past yonder ocean's lure.

But for the moments memory does fall,
I see her face and weep to caress all.
